Talk about music for the future. Recently I stumbled on a group of college freshmen who go by the name of Chiddy Bang. The Best way to describe their music is DOPE. A mixture of rock sounds, Techno/Dance, with great lyricism. If you like what you hear there is plenty more where that came from, so make your presence known!

I’m not too familiar with this artist, but the production on it is by IllPoetic - who penned, and produced one of my favorite albums in recent memory. So needless to say I took a listen, and you should too.

Ghostface - Daytona500 - which was also recently used on the Kid Daytona’s entire project. Dutch producer Nicolay of the Foreign Exchange gives us his take on the piece.

In light of the release of their album Brooklynati today, a freestyle of sorts from the rap trio Tanya Morgan ( Von Pea, DonWill, Illyas). They are a true testament of how much technology has revolutionized the game, as they met online, and almost recorded a full album — Moonlighting without ever actually meeting in person. Purchase the album on Itunes today, support good music!

And just in case you were worried about not getting anything Free today. Illyas released this about a month ago, but its a nice preview of what’s to come.

Many of you may recognize the name yU as 1/3 of the group Diamond District. They recently released a free EP entitled In the Ruff, but yU has decided to bless us with a few gems of his own on this dope mixtape entitled Before Taxes. The features go hard, and this is something I’ve listened to throughly and enjoyed as well.
