Here’s the interview from the cover story of FADER this month, the one where Kanye hated the cover. It’s a good interview overall because he wasn’t asked the same retarded questions everyone asks him, trying to get a rise out of him.

You might have another cultural moment with “Robocop.” Do you understand that if this comes out as a single, every dude is gonna be calling his girlfriend a Robocop when she gets mad. People are gonna to start saying that constantly.

Yeah, I’m the only voice for the guys because rap dudes don’t rap about love, and R&B dudes rap about love, like, “I want to love you.” So Pink is making songs, Ciara, all these male-bashing songs, so I’m like the only dude to speak up for the guys from an intelligent, really been in a relationship type perspective.

So there’s a bunch of new cuts floating around from 808’s and Heartbreak, which is less than 2 weeks away from release. There’s even a conference call someone recorded, for the real hardcore Ye stans.

But here’s my choice cut from the batch of leaks to hit the past few days: “So Amazing,” featuring Young Jeezy. Yep, there’s rappin’ on 808’s and Heartbreak, even though it’s not Ye. I won’t get started on the whole “ahh man, Ye isn’t rappin anymore,” because I don’t think he’s done rapping, and I’m all about letting artists do what they have to in the name of creativity.

• Kanye sings the whole album, mostly using the autotune.

• There’s some featured artists who rap, like Young Jeezy and Lil Wayne.

• The listening party took place in an empty room with forty naked women standing in the middle.

• There’s one song about his mother.

• And he’s going to have another album out next June.

• The album’s about “emotional nakedness”

I’m liking what I hear, but after hearing snips of this multiple times, I’d like to hear the final track already…

TIP was doing a show in LA, and Kanye came through with his posse and Cons was there to film it. According to eskay, Kanye officially completed 808’s and Heartbreak yesterday and the official release date is November 25. That second single is called “Heartless.”

And why he gotta always rub in my face that he has an ASR-10?

Kanye just announced on his blog that he’s moving up the release date on his album, 808’s and Heartbreak, from December to November. Looks like Young Jeezy’s gonna be on it. I’m lookin’ forward to hearing it.

There’s something very Guns N Roses’-ish about that cover. I’m a lil late I know, but better late than never. Here’s the apparent studio version, as was posted on Kanye’s blog.

And I just noticed on Nah Right, TMZ and all those other gossip sites that Mr. West was arrested this morning for assaulting a member of the paparazzi (not because he released Love Lockdown, as my poorly written title suggests). More details later as they come in. Access Hollywood says that as of this morning, he’s still being held at LAX, where the whole thing went down. I guess you can only take so much when you get cameras shoved in your face all the time.
